Harriet Armistead
Vice President - MAP
Harriet brings extensive experience in pharmacy practice to her role as Vice President of the Medication Assistance Pharmacy (MAP) at Welvista. A graduate of the South Carolina College of Pharmacy, Harriet has served as both a staff pharmacist and pharmacy manager at Welvista and a similar organization in North Carolina, where she developed a deep understanding of the healthcare needs of underserved communities.
In her current role, Harriet is dedicated to overseeing and growing the MAP program, ensuring that uninsured patients across South Carolina have access to the essential medications they need. As a born and raised South Carolinian, Harriet is especially passionate about ensuring that her community has access to life-saving medications. With a focus on expanding the reach of the program and improving operational efficiency, she is committed to making a meaningful impact on healthcare access for vulnerable populations. Harriet is passionate about leveraging her pharmacy expertise to support Welvista’s mission and drive positive change in the healthcare landscape.
