Smiles for a Lifetime has answers for parents needing help with dental care for their child.

Who can use Smiles for a Lifetime?
Students enrolled in grades K-12 in the districts we serve: Allendale, Clarendon, Dillon District 4, and Hampton school district.
How do I sign up?
A parent or guardian must sign a SMILES Consent Form before an appointment can be made. Download one from the link provided, or call the SMILES office nearest you to request a form. We will be sure one is sent home from school with your child. If preferred, the SMILES office can mail a consent form to you.
Where are the centers located?
The centers are located on school grounds in the districts we serve: Allendale, Clarendon, Dillon, and Hampton.
Do I have to pay anything?
No. There are no out-of-pocket costs to parents. If your child is eligible for Medicaid, SMILES will bill Medicaid directly. Parents must show proof of Medicaid, or a statement of denial from Medicaid. If you have private insurance, we will bill your insurance company.
What care can my child get?
Children can receive dental cleanings and examination, x-rays, fluoride treatments, sealants, crowns/stainless steel, extractions, restorative services/fillings.
How will my child get to the center?
Transportation is provided by the school system. Your child will be picked up from school, taken to their dental appointment, and then returned to school.
Who will treat my child?
A South Carolina licensed dentist, hygienist, and dental assistant will treat your child. Your child will receive excellent care from a team of dental professionals.
