Welvista's mail order pharmacy receives donations of brand-name medications directly from pharmaceutical companies and dispenses prescriptions by mail at no charge to eligible patients. The medications list covers forty different therapeutic drug classes and includes over 200 non-controlled oral, topical, inhalation, and injectable prescription medications.

Abbott became a Welvista partner in November 2001. In 2008, Abbott donated 18 different prescription medications with a value of $1,373,324.13.

AstraZeneca became a Welvista partner in November 2001. In 2008, AstraZeneca donated 17 different prescription medications with a value of $5,219,124.19.

Bristol-Myers Squibb became a Welvista partner in November 2001. In 2008, Bristol-Myers Squibb donated 3 different prescription medications with a value of $2,067,176.61.

Eli Lilly and Company became a Welvista partner in December 1996. In 2008, Eli Lilly donated 13 different prescription medications with a value of $6,803,809.69.

GlaxoSmithKline became a Welvista partner in 2003. In 2008, GSK donated 33 different prescription medications with a value of $3,712,319.26.

Johnson and Johnson became a Welvista partner in August 1993. In 2008, Johnson and Johnson donated 22 different prescription medications with a value of $1,635,026.79.

Merck became a Welvista partner in May 2005. In 2008, Merck donated 11 different prescription medications with a value of $1,181,713.23.

Novartis became a Welvista partner in April 2005. In 2008, Novartis donated 15 different prescription medications with a value of $1,208,365.09.

Novo-Nordisk Pharmaceuticals became a Welvista partner in October 2004. In 2008, Novo-Nordisk Pharmaceuticals donated 10 different prescription medications with a value of $1,179,938.30.

Pfizer became a Welvista partner in August 1993. In 2008, Pfizer donated 39 different prescription medications with a value of $8,961,700.94.

Sanofi-aventis became a Welvista partner in October 2008 donating 22 medications to the Welvista pharmacy.
