Welvista's mail order pharmacy receives donations of brand-name medications directly from pharmaceutical companies and dispenses prescriptions by mail at no charge to eligible patients. The medications list covers forty different therapeutic drug classes and includes over 250 non-controlled oral, topical, inhalation, and injectable prescription medications.

Abbott became a Welvista partner in November 2001. In 2009, Abbott donated 18 different prescription medications with a value of $1,795,996.91.

AstraZeneca became a Welvista partner in November 2001. In 2009, AstraZeneca donated 17 different prescription medications with a value of $7,492,664.87.

Bristol-Myers Squibb became a Welvista partner in November 2001. In 2009, Bristol-Myers Squibb donated prescription medications with a value of $2,248,723.00.

Eli Lilly and Company became a Welvista partner in December 1996. In 2009, Eli Lilly donated prescription medications with a value of $7,758,799.05.

GlaxoSmithKline became a Welvista partner in 2003. In 2009, GSK donated prescription medications with a value of $5,387,013.46.
